What
We Believe
God: We believe in one God, the living and true
God, who is the sole Creator, an infinite all-knowing
(past, present, future) Spirit, existing eternally in
three Persons — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit
— each having precisely the same nature, attributes, and
perfections.
Bible: We believe the Bible is the Word of God,
the inerrant authority and standard for all matters of
faith and life. We believe that the entire Scripture centers
on the Lord Jesus Christ and when properly understood,
leads to Him. |

Man:
We believe man, though created by God in innocence,
voluntarily chose to sin and consequently stands guilty
and condemned before God, incapable of redeeming himself,
and completely dependent on the grace and mercy of God
for salvation.
Jesus Christ: We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal,
impeccable Son of God, Who became man without ceasing
to be God and continues to be the God-Man forever. We
believe that He, conceived by the Holy Spirit, was born
of the Virgin Mary, by this, entered into human flesh
in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man.
We believe Jesus Christ through His death, burial and
resurrection is the only provision by God for the salvation
of man. We believe His death on the cross was a substitutionary
sacrifice for the sins of all men and His bodily resurrection
from the dead guaranteed redemption and salvation to all
those who believe. |

Holy
Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit is God, possessing
all the divine attributes. He took up His abode
in the world to reveal and glorify Christ and to
apply the saving work of Christ to men. He indwells
and baptizes all believers at the moment of their
salvation and empowers the believer to live the
Christian life. |
| Salvation:
We believe mankind’s only hope to be rescued
from the judgment of God is the shed blood of Jesus
Christ on the cross, and each person must believe
in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in order to be
forgiven and to receive eternal life. One is saved
by grace and justified by faith, making salvation
a free gift of God apart from any human worth, merit,
or ability. |

Second Coming: We believe in the personal bodily
return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth to reign
for 1000 years. Jesus Christ will reign as King
of Kings and Lord of Lords and every knee will bow
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord
to the glory of the Father.

Christian
Living: We believe it is the responsibility
of every believer, as a new creation in Christ and
sanctified by God, to be obedient to the Word of
God, grow in spiritual maturity, and demonstrate
a love for God, the believer, and the lost as instructed
by the Scripture and enabled by the Holy Spirit.
|
|
Evangelism: We believe it is the privilege and
responsibility of every believer to personally witness
and share the Gospel in obedience to the Great Commission
(Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8; John 17:18; 20:21; 2 Corinthians
5:20).
Local Church: We believe the local church is
the instrument God has ordained to carry out His
will in the redemption of man. Evangelism is not
only sharing Christ with a person to the initial
point of saving faith, but also includes bringing
the person to spiritual maturity. This type of evangelism
is impossible without the caring fellowship of the
local church. |
"Do
you not say, 'There are yet four months, and then
comes the harvest'? Behold, I say to you, lift up
your eyes, and look on the fields, that they are
white for harvest.
"Already he who reaps is receiving wages and
is gathering fruit for life eternal; that he
who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. |
